Marlita Camacho has been attending births since 2003. Having birthed her own children at home, she has a true passion for natural birth and empowering women to have the birth they desire. She also has a heart for adoption. She added a beautiful daughter to her family through adoption and works as an on staff doula and volunteer assistant at Crisis Pregnancy Outreach. Marlita is DONA trained and an active member of DONEOK. She attends home and hospital births whether medicated or natural, VBACS and c sections. Marlita speaks fluent Spanish and is experienced with births of mutiples, teen mothers, adoptions, survivors of abuse, birth, mothers in recovery and stillbirth. Continuing education and certifications include Spinning Babies and belly mapping workshop with Gail Tully in 2014 as well as TENS unit certification, Acupressure for Birth workshop, and advanced rebozo certification in 2014, Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Life Support certificatons in 2015.
Jenni Anthamatten has been attending births since 2007. Her desire to serve moms during labor began during outreach work, when she discovered mothers without partners were giving birth alone in hospital. Being a successful VBACer, she truly believes in a mother's right to choose her birthlng options. Jenni is DONA trained and an active member and former president of DONEOK. She is an on staff doula at Crisis Pregnancy Outreach and assists with their parenting support group. Jenni attends births in hospital and our local birth center as well as home births. She is experienced with teen mothers, mothers in recovery, survivors of abuse, adoptions, multiple births, attending families with prenatal diagnosis of Down Syndrome, CMV and anencephaly. Completed Blood Borne Pathogens course in 2011 and offers placenta encapsulation. Continuing education and certifications include TENS unit certification, Acupressure for Birth Workshop, and advanced rebozo training and certification in 2014 and Neonatal Resuscitation and Basic Life Support certifications in 2015.
